Mandatory complaint guide for online shops

I will always treat your personal data securely and confidentially in accordance with applicable law, including the Personal Data Ordinance and the Data Protection Act.

Your information will only be used for the purpose for which it was collected and will be deleted when that purpose is fulfilled or no longer relevant.

 

Description of the data processing

Purpose:

  • Delivery of my products and services: Personal information is used to contact you for the purpose of delivering products and services for which you have purchased, signed up and / or subscribed.

  • Delivery of newsletters: Personal information is used to send newsletters that you have subscribed to.

  • Customer service: Support in connection with your purchases and subscriptions as well as other inquiries.

  • Online marketing: Personal information is used for online marketing e.g. on Facebook.

I process the following categories of personal information: Ordinary personal information, e.g. name, address, email, telephone number, use of digital services, including newsletters.

I have received your information:

  • Directly from you via my website's subscription to newsletters or subscribing to newsletters elsewhere on the web, e.g. Facebook.

  • Directly from you in connection with the purchase of products or services.

  • From other sources that are publicly available e.g. Social Media.

 

Basis for treatment

It is necessary for me to hold this information by you because of:

 

  • My legitimate interest in marketing my products.

  • So, I can fulfil a contract that you are a party to.

  • So, I can comply with a legal obligation e.g. under the Accounting Act.

 

Recipients

I may disclose your personal information in the following circumstances:

 

I have entered into data processor agreements with these data processors, which is my guarantee that they comply with the applicable rules on the protection of your personal data:

  • Paypal for payment of products and service

  • Stripe for payment of products and service

  • Thinkific & KIT for handling booking and purchase of products and email newsletters.

 

Storage

I keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes mentioned:

  • With newsletters: As long as a consent given to receive marketing has not been withdrawn and I am not obliged to keep the personal data, for example in connection with a legal obligation.

  • With the purchase of services or products: In connection with the delivery of my products and services, I will store your personal information for up to 6 years after the termination of customer relationships in accordance with the Accounting Act, unless there are special reasons to store the information for a longer period, such as because you have access to an online product you have purchased.

  • In general, personal information regarding general inquiries from unregistered customers will be deleted after 1 year, unless there are special reasons to store the information for a longer period.

 

Disclosure, objection, correction, data portability and deletion

If there are errors in the information, I have about you, you can always ask to have it corrected so that I have the correct ones, just as you have the right to have the information provided in a standard format (data portability).
